Claire Blankenship approaches life and family law as both peacemaker and protector. Growing up in a small farm town in North Texas, Claire learned the value of hard work and determination from a young age. Well known for her straightforward demeanor, quick wit, and trademark sense of humor, Claire is a fearless advocate in and out of the courtroom.
As a skilled negotiator, Claire offers creative solutions to clients’ problems to help them avoid costly litigation, but when litigation is necessary, she fights for her clients with passion and strength.
Claire received a bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas in 2007 and worked for several years in the mental health field before going to law school. As a graduate of Texas A&M University School of Law in 2012, she chose family law as her practice area because of her desire to serve and protect those in vulnerable situations. As family law often touches on most other areas of practice, Claire brings experience in general civil litigation, including contract disputes, landlord-tenant relations, creditor rights, immigration, and business litigation.
Married to her high school sweetheart, Claire has two children, three dogs, and one cat. She enjoys hiking and camping with her family and singing her children to sleep every night.
