From 2011-2015, Ms. Russell was recognized as a Rising Star in Texas Family Law by Texas SuperLawyers, an honor bestowed by peer-vote to only a very small percentage of Texas attorneys. Further, Ms. Russell’s professionalism and ethics were recognized when she was invited to become a member of the Annette Stewart Inn of Court, an organization devoted to ethics and professionalism in the practice of family law.
Ms. Russell graduated from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2006, where she developed her passion for family law serving as a guardian/attorney ad litem for child abuse victims in the child advocacy clinic. Prior to law school, Ms. Russell graduated magna cum laude from the University of Oklahoma where, in 2002, she received her Bachelor of Arts in both English and Psychology. She is a member of the highly regarded Phi Beta Kappa honors society, as well as Phi Beta Phi sorority. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ms. Russell lives in Dallas with her husband and her two daughters.
